who?
I've been interested in music from a very early age. When I was around 6 or 7, I used to sing in Church and saved up enough money to buy my first Guitar. I didn't learn to really play till I was around 9, but it inspired me and made me love music.
I grew up on classic rock on the radio and other kinds of oldies.
I came back to music later due to being inspired by a musician I was listening to at the time. I wrote some songs on a Nylon Guitar my mom got me at a garage sale.
I did several different music projects consisting of ambient, electronic and just plain acoustic guitar songs going by various different names. It never really went anywhere and I was terrible at singing and writing music at the time, so I gave it up for a while.
That was until I hit a pretty rough patch in my life and songs started sort of appearing in my head. So, I started this project which has allowed me to share the songs I hear in my head. Before I knew it, I had a single and a few other songs. After having some other people listen to them, I uploaded them online. While I didn't get famous or anything, I did meet some music friends who helped me get better at production and songwriting who were genuine fans of my music–some even reached out and helped directly.
After making another EP and eventually an album and so on, trying new styles or ways of making music has allowed me to craft a style I feel is my own and if nothing else, music and art in general is like therapy for me and I will likely always be doing it to grow and get things off my chest.
Thank you for listening.
